I think with confidence I can say the first part done. Blisters have made way to calluses, our pale skin has tanned and pains in my legs have engorged my already big calves to comic proportions.
For me personally this has helped me turn the focus from my temporal needs to be able to reflect more clearly. It is incredible to see several hours pass by in a flash while carrying all your belongings on your back to the next village.
There is something about walking that helps my brain to have wings. It is a space where I can be most creative. I am looking forward to getting weeks more of journey in before our arrival in Santiago. Even now I ache to put more path behind me, but now is time for rest and sleep. It will be warmer tomorrow and we will want get started with the rise of the morning sun.
